We want to introduce you our new brand Vera & William. Vera & William is a Norwegian brand established in 1999, with a focus to create high-quality garments in pure and clean natural materials like Merino wool, silk and cotton. The clothes are especially suited for the shifting seasons and climate of Scandinavia. The designs are inspired by traditional and timeless essentials for both every day and delicate use. Vera & William pays close attention to the origin and value of the clothes they produce. That’s why we of modern showroom are targeting this upcoming brand.
Vera & William has a high focus to create high quality, functional garments meant to last. They make underwear and stockings based on Scandinavian heritage, history and values. With de designs, the garments provide an urban and elegant alternative. The production takes place in local traditional factories in the north of Italy. The production is not for masses but for a smaller public that wants to have an honest piece of work, good quality garments and the value of craftmanship. The clothes are checked and tested multiple times during the production process. Each garment is made with love and affection in respect of nature. The philosophy behind Vera & William is to recreate authentic garments from the past. The time when clothes had purely a function and were meant to last for a long time. Vera & William wants to sell garments you have to desire and garments to fall in love with. The thought behind this is that because you have to desire and fall in love with the garments, the garments will receive more care and nurturing, which will result in the garment lasting longer.
Vera & William only uses high-quality materials like Merino wool, silk and Egyptian cotton. Merino wool comes from the merino sheep and is highly valued. Merino is considered to have the finest and softest feeling and structure. It is also a very strong. The quality therefore is very good for garments that are worn directly on the skin and garments that need regular cleaning. Another material that Vera & William uses is silk. They use pure silk which comes from an insect. The silkworm is the larva of a silk moth. The insect is the producer of silk and an economically important insect. The third material that Vera & William uses for their garments is cotton. Cotton is a soft and comfortable material and because they use Egyptian cotton it is exclusive. The seed hairs from the raw material are picked by hand to get perfect ripening at harvest. The cotton has a very good durability, a shiny look and has an extreme length. Vera & William is also introducing a new material which is linen. To view the collection, visit our showroom online.
Raoul Martin’s designs stem from his passion and love for nature, shapes, colors, and structures. Architecture of world cities and nature
are sources of Raoul Martin designs. The RAOUL MARTIN collection typically includes blazers, skirts, dresses, and sweaters made from natural and sustainable materials.
The world of the RAOUL MARTIN is honesty, love, respect, compassion, diversity, softness, sensuality, security, warmth, and beauty reign.
Powerful women shaped him into who he is today. “As a little boy I was already dressing my sister’s dolls, my mother made sure I left
home well dressed and later the love of my life provided a source of inspiration.” Raoul Martin’s goal has always been to encourage women to use their natural strength, authenticity, and uniqueness. Raoul Martin wants his collections to be like armor, to help women
step out into the world and stand strong, position themselves and make a statement. His love for nature and architecture is reflected in his capsule
collections, displayed in prints and knits.
If there is one way to describe Boom Shankar, it’s humble beginnings. Dui was born in Kempsey, an outback town in rural New South Wales, where her father Bob was the local milkman. It’s a small town that made a big name for itself as the birthplace of Slim Dusty (who was actually born in the same hospital as Dui!), the home of the iconic Akubra, and of course, it’s where it all started for Dui, back when Boom Shankar was not even a twinkle in her eye
Over the last two decades, Boom Shankar has evolved into a prominent Australian fashion label. Dui designs each piece in with her team in Australia, and then spends six months at a time in India working closely with the skilled craftspeople who create and assemble each season’s range.
The world of fashion ranks fourth on the list of most environmentally damaging industries. It makes up for a whopping 10% of humanity’s carbon emissions! Seeing such a beautiful art form cause so much destruction caused me to rethink how I dress.
That’s why we launched CLARA 8A (Clara Ochoa), to provide fashion-lovers with a colorful wardrobe they can be proud of!
Our goal is to become the world’s #1 ethical clothing brand. We design colorful outfits & unisex clothing with one-of-a-kind patterns & ethical textiles. They’re all made in-house using recycled bottles (they look better on us than in the ocean!)
