A Different Paris Men’s Fashion Week

Technology During Men’s Fashion Week Paris Men’s fashion week has changed a lot in the past few years. When covid hit so many things were shut down and turned around. The fashion world has been able to persevere and innovate its processes to adapt to the new pandemic age. They have used technology for live-streamed fashion shows as a way to continue to display collections while following regulations. Those brands have added as much drama and fun as possible to make up for how they have had to run in the past.  Men’s fashion week is coming to a close, but in Paris, it is on to the next where couture week is about, to begin with, the same hybrid concept of in-person and online shows to continue on for some time.   You can find more information […]

Sophie Stique celebrates International Women’s Day in style!

This International Women’s Day on the 8th of March, Sophie Stique presents it’s new Spring Summer 2018 collection to celebrate women and style! According to an African proverb: “If women lower their arms the sky falls”. On the occasion of this day, Sophie Stique proposes to celebrate all the strength and passion of every woman. The brand Sophie Stique means refined garments, always well kept but without forgetting comfort, never banal and why not, a little naive and easygoing. One should never take itself too seriously. New women’s collection The new collection celebrates the energy of color, the “joie de vivre” in all its forms and as a philosophy of life through the metaphor of travel and reunification with nature. Immersed in a maritime atmosphere recalled from the print of blue majolica typical of the Portuguese azulejos tradition and then projected in the lush vegetation of the Mexican jungle that has inspired the magnificent Frida Kahlo. Immersed in a triumph of flowers rendered by graphic prints, which seem to come out of a painting by Mirò, or a more subtle, elegant watercolor found on linen and on the light viscose crepe, or even the hibiscus, typical of Hawaiian atolls and […]

THEO: presented at Kiev Fashion Days

Ukrainian up and coming label THEO presented their FW18/19 collection during Kiev Fashion Days. The new collection is ready to be seen in out showroom. This is what the Designer, Teo Dekan had to say about his new collection: In my work, I’m in constant search of a “perfect female wardrobe”, research the nature of HER, THEO Woman. HER personality, HER feelings and emotions, HER character become clearer and more nuanced with each collection. The new THEO collection Fall-Winter 2018/19 is the result of my immersion into the style of THEO Woman. The main idea is “One collection to suit all, and unique for each and every one.” THEO Woman is absolutely natural, SHE doesn’t strike a pose or crave attention. SHE is rarely interested in what others think of her, SHE is busy with HER own emotion and HER fresh experience from HERSELF and HER new outfits. HER choice doesn’t take much time, as SHE dresses for HERSELF. The magic of HER originality is in elimination of standards. SHE never dresses for an occasion, at the same time SHE is always appropriately dressed. SHE doesn’t showcase. SHE observes. Observes HER feelings, HER experience and HERSELF. SHE is honest with HERSELF. […]
