From Finance to Fashion, Bridging Worlds

Sara Wong began her career in finance at the University of Melbourne before answering a deeper desire for creativity. Her studies at RMIT gave shape to this new direction, grounding her vision in both discipline and artistry. Only a year after her Milan Fashion Week debut in 2020 under the name MAXREINY by SARA WONG, the label emerged into its fully realised form as SARAWONG. Her first eponymous show took place during the following Fall/Winter season.

Since then, her work has carried a distinctive language. It moves between Eastern heritage and Western tailoring, where symbolic motifs and resonant silhouettes shape what femininity means for the brand today. This instinct to bridge worlds extends beyond her collections into collaborations, affirming her ability to translate tradition into something resonant for the present.
