ABOUT ME AND MY SHOE COLLECTION AC

My studies and my Training

I studied English and French, at school and university, for many years with 6 different teachers for each of the two languages. Then I lived in London for more than 7 years, where, after completing my Masters in Translation, I taught myself how to design shoes, improving my technique every single day for more than 7 years.

Later I moved to Milan where I opened my company ‘House of Cusimano’ s.r.l.s. (of which I am the sole shareholder) and where I launched my brand AC (Angela Cusimano) with my first capsule which I currently exhibit at the Modern Showroom in via Bartolomeo Giuliano 6N01.

I prefer developing my designs by hand, as I love paper and the smell of graphite. To develop my Technical Drawings I work with a program used mostly in the States: Autodesk Sketchbook. I am extremely sociable person and I love to surround myself with people who stimulate me and make me grow.

In My Life

I’m very curious and I appreciate points of view that are different from mine because they allow me to have a broader vision.

I like working in a team, but I don’t mind working alone.

I have a very contagious energy and it makes me feel good when I can make a difference in the day of those around me.

I am very fascinated by all that is esoteric and mystical. I read a lot about astrology (and everything that interests me in general) and I love reading tarot cards to my friends.

I have a keen sense of what fashion represents in our society today and how it has changed over the years.

I love painting images of feet and shoes on canvas that tell stories. One of my greatest passions is music (in particular jazz and soul) and I believe that, together with art and fashion, they are the highest expressions of the human being.
